ZERO DOSAGE
The term "Zero Dosage" or "No Dosage" refers, as its name suggests, to the Dosage , that is to say the Sugar Level of the Champagne once ready to be shipped. In this case, there is no sugar that has been manually added to the bottle just after the disgorging stage. In addition to this, and unlike Champagne Brut Nature, there is no residual sugar left because the yeasts have eaten all the sugar present in the bottle during maturation on lees in the cellar!
A Zero Dosage Champagne contains exactly 0 grams of sugar per liter to be precise! Once the dosage reaches 0.1 grams (in the case where there is residual sugar from this level), the Champagne will be classified in the category above Zero Dosage, that is to say Brut Nature. A little tip to know the exact dosage : Don't just rely on what is indicated on the label, look carefully at the back label, or even the technical data sheet of the bottle because it can vary!
