Shipping policy

1) SHIPPING ZONES

Currently, we ship our products throughout Belgium 🇧🇪 and to certain member countries of the European Union 🇪🇺

2) DELIVERY TIMES

All orders are processed as quickly as possible, and we strive to deliver them within 1 to 3 business days in Belgium and within 3 to 5 business days in other European Union countries. Delivery times may vary depending on the destination and the type of shipping selected at the time of order. Please note that delivery times may be affected by potential delays related to customs and/or other logistical constraints, such as unforeseen situations like extreme weather conditions or periods of high demand (e.g., end-of-year holidays).

In the event of a delivery delay, you will receive an email with tracking information for your package to keep you informed of the situation. If the delay is excessively long and exceeds 30 days after the estimated delivery date, you have the option to cancel your order and request a full refund. Please note that this procedure does not apply to international deliveries where delays are caused by customs or carriers taking over in the final destination country.

3) SHIPPING COSTS

Shipping fees are calculated at the time of payment and vary based on the weight of your order, the destination, and the carrier selected. The exact shipping amount is displayed at the time of order validation, just before payment.

For international deliveries (outside European Union countries), taxes and customs duties may be applied by the local authorities in the delivery country. Before finalizing your purchases, it is your responsibility to inquire about the exact amount of these fees applicable in your country or if the delivery address is not your primary residence (e.g., vacation address). All additional fees are the customer's responsibility. Please verify the exact location where you must pay these fees, whether to the carrier or your country's customs service.

4) ORDER TRACKING

Once your order is validated, we will ship your package, and you will receive a confirmation email with a tracking number. You can then follow the progress of your package in real time on our site in the footer tab "Track Your Order." Please check your spam folder if you have not received this email. 5) DELIVERY CONDITIONS

We deliver our Champagnes and other products with care in certified packaging suitable for wine transport. We work with carriers that guarantee fast and secure delivery. All our packages are shipped from our warehouse located in the Mons region of Belgium. Upon delivery, it is the customer's responsibility to check the condition of the package and the delivered products and to report any apparent damage immediately to the carrier and by contacting us via email (the.champagne.ambassador@gmail.com) or phone (+33643520037). If you have not received your package within the indicated timeframe, contact us, and we commit to processing your request as quickly as possible to find a solution.

6) HOME DELIVERY AND RELAY POINT DELIVERY

For Home Delivery, please ensure you provide the exact and complete address to avoid significantly longer delivery times or even loss of your package. The package will be delivered exactly to the address indicated at the time of order. If there is an address error, we cannot be held responsible, and any additional fees will be at the customer's expense. In case of absence during delivery, the carrier will leave a delivery notice. All instructions for retrieving your package will be indicated on the notice (scheduling another delivery time OR picking up the package at a relay point near your home). In case of non-collection of the package within the timeframe set by the carrier (ATTENTION: please check this timeframe as it varies by carrier), it will automatically be returned to our warehouse once the deadline has passed. Re-shipping fees will then be at the customer's expense.

For Relay Point Delivery, the customer can select a relay point at the time of purchase to pick up their package. Please note that the package will remain at the relay point until the customer collects it within the timeframe specified by the carrier (ATTENTION: please check this timeframe as it varies by carrier). In case of non-collection, it will automatically be returned to our warehouse once the deadline has passed.

In accordance with current regulations, the delivery of alcoholic products is strictly reserved for adults (18 years and older in Belgium or the legal age in your country of residence). Whether for home or relay point delivery, the delivery person may request identification to verify the buyer's age. In case of doubt or failure to present identification, delivery may be refused, and the order returned. In such cases, return shipping costs will be at the customer's expense.
